The festive program of ACI’s 41st birthday celebration was enriched with a klapa song, socializing and gift-giving by employees and long-time guests in ACI marinas from Umag to Dubrovnik
ACI d.d., a leading company in the nautical industry and the largest chain of marinas, not only in Croatia, but also in the Mediterranean, celebrated ACI Day with a traditional get-together at ACI Marina Opatija as well as other marinas across the Adriatic. Guests and employees of the marina, as well as the president of the ACI Management Board Kristijan Pavić, member of the ACI Management Board, Ph.D. Ivan Herak and the director of ACI marina Opatija Ivica Škec. Since its foundation, the company has become a regional leader in nautical tourism and green transition and continues to set standards in sustainable business.
A large turnout of sailors on the occasion of the traditional celebration of the ACI day
ACI’s day in the company of colleagues and guests has had a special significance for ACI for many years and represents a tradition that it adheres to exceptionally well. To the great satisfaction of everyone, from Umag to Dubrovnik, a large number of sailors participated in this year’s ACI Day, which testifies to the quality relations and trust that have been built with sailors from all over the world during 41 years of long tradition.
“We are proud to traditionally celebrate the Day of ACI, a company that has become the unquestionable leader in nautical tourism in the Mediterranean from its beginnings until today. Our commitment to sustainable business and innovation has placed us at the top of the industry and encouraged the realization of numerous important projects. One of the last of these is the construction of the new ACI Marina Rijeka, which will set new standards in the nautical sector,” said Kristijan Pavić, President of the Management Board of ACI d.d.
More than four decades of experience, excellence and commitment to the green transition
Nautical tourism is a key component of the Croatian economy, and ACI, with its rich experience of more than four decades, continuously sets trends and standards in the industry. ACI’s network of marinas significantly contributes to the development of nautical tourism, thus positioning Croatia as one of the most desirable destinations for sailors from all over the world.
“Croatia has come a long way in terms of green transition and sustainability of nautical tourism. Likewise, ACI has always been synonymous with excellence in nautical tourism, and today we look with pride at our long-standing role in the development of this sector and care for the environment. Our marinas are not only the favorite destinations of sailors from all over the world, but are also active participants in promoting environmental awareness and care for the entire community,” concluded Dr. sc. During the festivities in ACI marinas all over the coast, guests had the opportunity to enjoy pleasant socializing and exchange of experiences. This year, ACI organized the special program in all the marinas of its system. It was celebrated all over the Adriatic. The 41st birthday was even celebrated with a birthday klapa song, and long-term employees and guests were presented with appropriate gifts, thus thanking them for their long-term loyalty.
