ACI celebrated its 38th birthday with the start of Nautical Patrol of the “Jutarnji List” 2021, choosing ACI Marina Opatija for its departure point
The 1st of July has always been a precious and very special day for ACI, especially over the past five years. Not only is it the anniversary of the largest marina chain in the Mediterranean, but on that day, we celebrate the start of the Nautical Patrol of the “Jutarnji List”, too. For the fifth year in a row, the “Jutarnji List” crew started the nautical adventure on the 1st of July to sail around and monitor the best Croatian marinas, looking for the right one, the one worthy of the Gold Anchor award. This year, Nautical Patrol started officially at ACI Marina Opatija and we took this opportunity to celebrate another birthday of ACI among our precious friends.
The new edition of the favourite nautical story
During this year’s Nautical Patrol, for the fifth time in a row, the six-membered crew of the “Jutarnji List” will sail around 35 marinas across the Croatian coast, from Umag to Dubrovnik, 22 of which are ACI Marinas. During the sailing route of 700 NM, the crew members will interview over 1000 boaters to better define the ranking list of the very best Croatian marinas. Accordingly, the top-ranked marina will win the 2021 Gold Anchor Award.
The boaters shall help decide which marina is the most beautiful one and which provides top-of-the-range facilities and services. Thus, that one shall acquire the title of the “Jewel of the Adriatic”. In addition to that, the marina with the top-ranked staff in regards to staff kindness will be the winner of the “Golden Smile of the Adriatic” Award. Last year, the Gold Anchor 2020 went to ACI Marina Cres whose excellence has once again been confirmed by the Blue Flag, namely for the 22nd time.
