One of the most distinctive marinas on the richly indented Croatian coast, ACI Marina on the island of Cres, has been awarded the Golden Smile of the Adriatic for the friendliest staff among domestic marinas in 2023.
The Golden Smile of the Adriatic Nautical Patrol this time went to one of the most awarded marinas of the largest chain in the Mediterranean, ACI Marina Cres. In 2023, Cres Marina can pride itself on having the friendliest staff, a title it also earned two years ago. Just like last year, a total of 63 Croatian marinas competed in this contest, with survey participants from around the world rating and awarding points. This award has been given continuously for seven years, and this year, as in the previous edition, marinas were evaluated for their performance throughout the entire year, not just during the summer season.
Numerous awards and recognitions from boaters are the best confirmation of the quality of ACI marinas.
The awards in the seventh season of the Nautical Patrol were given in several appropriate categories, once again concluding a successful season for both domestic marinas and national tourism, especially nautical tourism. The new award in its portfolio, the Golden Smile of the Adriatic for 2023, has now been bestowed upon ACI Marina Cres. This recognition is given by the boaters themselves, the users of the marinas, who come from neighboring countries as well as from around the world. The satisfaction, recognized for the second time in just three years at Cres ACI Marina, confirms that it is truly a marina to which boaters gladly return year after year. The same recognition was awarded to ACI Marina Cres in the Nautical Patrol survey in 2021 when boaters gave the highest marks to this nautical tourism port in response to the question about staff friendliness.
