ACI marinas won as many as four Nautical Sail 2022 awards.

Punat, October 21, 2022 – The Nautical Sail Award ceremony for 2022 was held in the Punat marina on the island of Krk as many as four ACI marinas won significant awards, ACI marinas Korčula, Dubrovnik, Cres, and Rovinj.

Member of the Management Board of ACI d.d. for finance, corporate law, and human resources, Ph.D. In his opening speech, Ivan Herak pointed out that he was particularly glad that this year’s Nautical Sail focused on the green component: “We live with the sea and from the sea, and we must protect it. Also, I must emphasize that the survey of the Nautical Sail is very valuable for us, and the awards clearly show our marinas the direction in which we should go and in which we are going”.
This year, the journalistic crew of the Nautical Sail traveled the Adriatic from Dubrovnik to Umag, sailed 25 marinas, 64 destinations, and more than a thousand nautical miles, and wrote dozens of newspaper pages. After a tour of the marinas and a survey of boaters who stayed in Croatia this summer, they revealed to us which marinas stood out in particular.

ACI Marina Korčula was awarded a special award for the development of nautical tourism. Korčula’s marina stood out in particular with the recent reconstruction of the 300-meter-long breakwater, which during the season provides the majority of moorings. The reconstruction of the breakwater significantly increased the stability and safety of this nautical tourism port, which was the most important goal. In addition, in ACI Marina Korčula, the level of service has been increased by installing a new electrical and water infrastructure, a hydrant network, and an Internet signal. In addition, since the marina is located in the immediate vicinity of the city walls and is itself one of the lifeblood of the city, the breakwater is lined with stone, which completely integrates the marina into the visual identity of the city, the pearl of the Adriatic island, the beautiful Korčula.

ACI marina Dubrovnik won a special award for the gastronomic marina of the Adriatic, and ACI marina Cres for the best offer of additional content. The Korkyra marina on Korčula was crowned with the bronze sail, the ACI marina Rovinj with the silver sail, while this year’s Golden Sail was won by the Punat marina on the island of Krk.

The awardees were congratulated by the President of the Management Board of Hanza Media, Ana Hanžeković Krznarić, Editor-in-Chief of Jutarnji List Goran Ogurlić, Director of the Croatian Tourist Board Kristjan Staničić, Director of the Board for the System of Tourist Boards, Categorization and Legal Affairs Monika Udovičič, President of the Marina Association HGK Sean Lisjak and numerous other distinguished guests. A member of the Management Board of ACI d.d. for marketing, retail, and investments, Mr. Josip Ostrogović, joined in the congratulations during the awards ceremony. He emphasized that these awards result from the joint work and effort of all ACI d.d. employees.
