The opening ceremony for, by many the most modern and the most beautiful marina of nautical tourism in the Adriatic, ACI marina Rovinj, took place on Friday, April 26, 2019 in Rovinj. New ACI marina Rovinj with the highest standards of design and technological solutions, is ready to stand side by side with other elite world destinations.
The historically greatest ACI investment, categorized by 5 anchors, can be described in four words: beauty, luxury, innovation and security.
Marina was solemnly opened by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković.

I look forward to read the numbers that this kind of enhanced offer of Rovinj will deliver for the results of this tourist season.“ – said Prime Minister Plenkovic and congratulated all who participated in the implementation of the project and highlighted that the Government has been encouraging the development of the Istrian County through numerous development projects.
During reconstruction, ACI was led with its original values by emphasizing the beauty of the natural environment with the minimal interventions in space. Minimalist architecture is ideally suited to space and environment, utilizing the state-of-the-art technology and infrastructure solutions, with top-level service and rich facilities that provide 1400 sqm of functional facilities ready to meet the needs of the most demanding boaters: modern catering facilities, wellness, grocery store and brand stores of world-renowned brands, representative offices of renowned sales representatives of luxury yachts, charter agencies, service center for boats, etc. Latest generation Wi-Fi system, state of the art video surveillance and access control system, ACI digital travel system and automated system for maximum energy efficiency are part of the Rovinj Marine solution. The two spacious marina pools have 196 berths that can accommodate vessels of the length of 35 meters on the annual berth, and for daily berth much larger, up to 100 meters, what can guarantee a safe harbour for large mega yachts.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Predrag Štromar, Minister of the Sea, Maritime Affairs and Infrastructure, Oleg Butković, Tourism Minister Gari Cappelli, Mayor of Rovinj Marko Paliaga and numerous senior state and local officials as well as numerous businessmen: Mato Franković, Mayor of Dubrovnik, Vojko Obersnel, Mayor of Rijeka, Ante Vlahović, Adris Chairman of the Board, David Sopta, Jadrolinija Chairman of the Board, Ivan Krešić, Croatian representative at the INA Directorate and a great number of leading people in tourism. If we mention Ivica Kostelic, one of the best sportsmen in Croatia of all times, it is clear that the opening ceremony was a special event in the history of ACI.
