Civil engineers Ines Pean, Luka Cener and Marijana Čančar were awarded the most prestigious Croatian award for excellence in construction.
During the 15th Days of the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers the most prestigious Croatian award ceremony for civil engineering took place from the 17th-19th June in Opatija. The project of reconstruction and construction of ACI Marina Rovinj stood out among the award winners, celebrating ACI Marina Rovinj as the currently most luxurious marina not only within the ACI Marina System, but on the whole Adriatic coast.
As a part of this big and important project for the Croatian boating and nautical tourism sector, the Kolos Award was given out to civil engineers Ines Pean, Luka Cener and Marijana Čančar for professional supervision of the reconstruction and construction works at the marina.
As a result of this awarded reconstruction project, ACI Marina Rovinj has a reputation of the Croatian Nautical Jewel with the capacity of 196 annual berths for vessels of up to 30 meters in length. Moreover, the marina can now offer berthing even to vessels of up to 100 meters in length.
This reputable and well recognized award very much confirms the importance of the project. Thereby, through the status of the most luxurious marina on the Adriatic, we commit ourselves to further developing and investing in progress of Croatian boating and nautical tourism sector.
