THE MEDITERRANEAN’S LARGEST MARINAS CHAIN SUPPORTED THE LARGEST BOAT FAIR IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC

More than 10,000 visitors are expected during the four days of the largest nautical fair in this area, and immediately after the opening, the new location where this fair will be held from 2025 – ACI marina Rijeka in Porto Baroš was presented.

 

The Rijeka Boat Show began with a ceremonial opening program at Karolina Rijeka Pier. It is the largest nautical fair in the northern Adriatic, which this year takes place from October 5 to 8. The opening itself was attended by numerous domestic businessmen, exhibitors, as well as company representatives, among whom Josip Ostrogović, member of the Management Board of ACI d.d., stood out as one of the speakers. for investments, marketing and retail, and in this way the company supported this traditional Rijeka event. At the end of the official opening, the project for the construction of the ACI Marina Rijeka in Porto Baroš was presented to the audience, on whose premises the Rijeka Boat Show should be held as early as 2025, which would attract up to ten times more visitors and exhibitors.

The Rijeka Boat Show is the largest nautical fair in the northern part of the Adriatic, and it has existed in this format since 2019. However, the event itself is the heir to the long tradition of nautical fairs in Rijeka, which has existed since 1984. On the occasion of the official opening of this year’s events, the head of the commercial affairs department of the Rijeka Port Authority, captain Rajko Jurman, head of product development of the Rijeka Tourist Board, Marko Mikašinović, member of the Investment, Marketing and Retail Management Board of ACI d.d., addressed the crowd. Josip Ostrogović and the organizer and director of the fair Ivan Črnjarić. The head of the Administrative Department for Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County Izabela Linčić Mužić and the head of the Department for Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism in the Administrative Department for Economy, Development, Ecology and European Projects of the City of Rijeka Dario Dobrilović expressed their support for the fair. Also, the President of the Management Board of ACI-GITONE d.o.o., Anđelko Petrinić, gave a presentation on the construction of the future ACI Marina Rijeka.

Josip Ostrogović, a member of the Board for Investments, Marketing and Retail, addressed the gathering on behalf of the already traditional partner and friend of this event, ACI. “Throughout 40 years of business, ACI has led the domestic nautical sector in all segments, from the contribution to national tourism, the general development and popularization of nautical to the strengthening of sailing as a national sport. Accordingly, in all the previous years, the Rijeka Boat Show has been an opportunity for us to meet and exchange knowledge, news and plans with everyone gathered here. However, this year’s edition has one additional value for our community like none before, because we can share that we are one step closer to the realization of the largest nautical project in the history of Lijepa naša, that is, the construction of the most advanced and most luxurious marina in the Mediterranean, which will spring up right here, in Rijeka. , Ostrogović pointed out.

 

Rijeka Boat Show with the construction of ACI Marina Rijeka is getting a new world stage

 

Rijeka Boat Show is an established place where the most sales have always been made and where the best deals have been made. The organizers have announced four exceptional fair days due to the favorable weather forecast. Also, since the exhibiting capacity has been further expanded this year, both on land and at sea, it is certain that the fair will be in the focus of the nautical community. The offer of vessels and nautical equipment is more diverse than ever, and a special emphasis is placed on the vessels of Croatian small shipbuilding. Thus, among other things, visitors can expect as many as six Croatian premiers, so boating enthusiasts will be able to view the latest models of top-class vessels, which are TIGE Z5 and ATX S20 (Action Yachts d.o.o.), SKILSO PANORAMA 35 (Aduros), NORTHMASTER 585 OPEN (Aestate) Serenum d.o.o.), EOLO 64 EL Open and EOLO 64 EL Day (Apolon Group d.o.o.). It is expected that this will be the most successful edition of the fair so far. According to all announcements, more than 10,000 visitors should walk along the Karolina Rijeka Quay during the four days of the nautical fair.
