On October 18, the beautiful Elaphite waters served as the perfect backdrop for the 19th ACI Staff regatta, where 14 vessels tested their sailing skills. The regatta started in the ACI marina Dubrovnik, and the sailing was all the way to the island of Koločep and back. This year, the crew of the sailboat “Pia” headed by Denis Vukas won. The second place was taken by the crew “Fresh emotion” led by Maro Knežević and Hrvoj Obradović, while the third place went to “Wind Kiss” led by Lovro Peović.

In the ACI Staff regatta, everyone is a winner

The ACI Staff regatta is a traditional event for the ACI marina Dubrovnik. Out of a total of 14 registrants, 10 sailboats reached the finish line, and 4 were disqualified. However, this did not hinder the cheerful company on the occasion of the gathering held in the marina after the regatta. The ACI Staff regatta is one of those where everyone is a winner, the goal is the time spent together, not the results.

All participants deserve congratulations, and we are looking forward to the next anniversary 20th ACI Staff regatta, which will be a new opportunity, not only for competition but primarily for socializing and enjoying the joys of the sea and sailing.
