In addition to the awards to the ACI marinas Dubrovnik, Vodice, Cres and Vrboska, the exclusive award for the development of elite nautical tourism went to the ACI marina Rovinj
On Monday, October 18, the award ceremony of the Nautical Patrol of Jutarnji list for 2021 was held. The ceremony was held at the Hotel Ambasador in Opatija, and among the selected categories, the ACI marinas stood out the most, winning as many as five awards. After visiting 32 marinas and 22 bays, 882 nautical miles and numerous surveys, the Nautical Patrol of Jutarnji list yesterday revealed the long-awaited experiences and opinions of sailors who were in Croatia this summer. As many as five ACI marinas have won significant awards, including one exclusively for the development of elite nautical tourism, which was awarded to the ACI marina Rovinj. In addition to the ACI marina Rovinj, the awards were also given to the ACI marinas Dubrovnik, Vodice, Vrboska and Cres thanks to high standards in the field of service, gastronomy and cooperation with local family farms.
Regional leader in gastronomic offer
ACI marina Dubrovnik won the award “Golden Embroidery of Gastronomy” thanks to the rich offer of restaurants Zephyrus and Azzuro. On the other hand, ACI marina Vodice won a very significant award, and it is a recognition of the “Pearl of the Green Highway” for the best cooperation with local producers and family farms. These two valuable awards for the ACI marina Dubrovnik and Vodice also show that boaters recognize the quality gastronomic offer, which ultimately confirms that ACI is truly an unquestionable leader in the gastronomic offer when it comes to Croatian nautical tourism.
Continuous development of high standards recognized by the entire nautical community
Last year’s winner of the “Golden Anchor” award for the best Croatian marina, ACI marina Cres, this year received another important recognition that confirms why it is one of the most popular Croatian marinas among boaters. The “Golden Smile of the Adriatic” award is given to marinas whose staff the boaters rated as the kindest, and this year it is the ACI marina Cres. However, this year, a slightly southern marina competed for the Golden Anchor, and it is the ACI marina Vrboska, which took a high third place and received special recognition for it.
However, one of the most important awards was the exclusive one, which went to the ACI marina Rovinj for the development of elite nautical tourism. It is the most luxurious Croatian marina and the holder of 5 anchors, whose construction and reconstruction was awarded the most prestigious domestic recognition in the field of construction – the “Colossus” award. The award was presented by the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Dr. sc. Nikolina Brnjac. The directors of the awarded marinas, led by the member of the Management Board – ACI Director Kristijan Pavić, thanked for the received awards and promised to continue raising standards in ACI marinas in order to position Croatia even stronger as a nautical superpower.
